Welcome to our page for our first ever Life Church Women’s Retreat! This page will serve as a compendium for the upcoming Women’s Retreat on September 23-25. The theme for this retreat is EmpowHER through Engagement: Learning what it means to engage with God, each other, and our community. We hope you will join us for a weekend of growth and connection

Linda Ravey

Linda Ravey is an amazingly blessed woman of God.  Linda is married to Rick and they have a blended family of six children and 20 grandchildren who they love dearly.   Her passion is loving and serving others and being involved in things that can support and change lives, from family and friends to the community, and the world at large.  Having God answer a prayer and seeing the results is one of her favorite things in this life.

Cowgirl at heart, given to hospitality, follower of Christ Jesus, sister to many, love my family. Oh yes, and I love creating (and eating) vibrant food.

Melisa Cooper

Melisa Dan Cooper is co-founder of Global Consulting Group, a mission organization dedicated to Kingdom expansion and wholeness domestically and internationally.  She co-pastors alongside her husband, Don Cooper, The Bridge Christian Church in Crawford, TX.  She and Don currently own and operate a three-generation family business in Waco, TX -Cooper & Co Salon, Spa, and Barber Studio.

She has ministered for 30 years in the US and Latin America with her growing family by her side.

She is passionate about wholeness – body, soul, and spirit. Her love for this nation and its assignment in the earth has broadened the Governmental aspects of ministry in the last 15 years.

She has 7 children and 7 grandchildren and resides on the family farm in Crawford with her husband of 39 years and their two youngest daughters.

Session 3 – Engaging with Community

 

Cindy Chisum

Cindy Chisum has been a member of LifeChurch since 2006. She accepted Jesus as her savior in 1984 while attending TAMU. Cindy had been married for 39 years to Randy, has 3 grown children (including Janna Shepherd), and 4 grandchildren. Cindy serves LifeChurch as Nursery Director, and is on the Admin Team. Cindy loves encouraging, teaching, and helping others.

Karen VonGonten

Karen VonGonten, married to Ryan, homeschool mom of 6 awesome kids, farm lady. My favorite thing to do is worship Jesus with His friends!

The retreat will start on Friday, September 23rd, check-in will  begin at 5pm. We will then head out to Whitehall Icehouse & Cafe for dinner at 6pm. Check-out start on Sunday, September 25th starting at 7AM. We will be staying at the 7D Ranch – Nestled in the rolling hills of Navasota, Texas on a vast 1600 acres of tranquility and unforgettable experiences, lies 7D Ranch Texas.
